Our Story

How it all started...

Pastor Tacha met her husband, Jay Byrams in Tulsa at Oral Roberts University and together they taught on kingdom finance and leadership. After serving under several ministries, Pastor Jay heard the Lord's commission to pursue ministry full time and establish a church. With a handful of faithful friends and family, in their Tulsa home, Kingdom Keys Ministries was launched, October 7, 2007.  Their mission was "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to teach others to fish, reach a generation".  With this mission, KKM started impacting lives immediately through empowerment of the Word and rapidly outgrew their home.

Expanding the vision...

In June 2008, KKM moved into an old Taco Mayo located at 6030 South Peoria--in one of the highest crime areas in South Tulsa. There the vision shifted as we began to grapple with the psychological, spiritual and emotional needs of those in the community.  We witnessed God transforming lives through the power of the Holy Spirit and, through this experience, He taught us how to counsel and minister to those broken and oppressed.

Expansion created the need for another move and, in 2012, we moved down the street to 6404 South Peoria. There we continued to to grow as we operated as a safe haven for those needing healing and wholeness in Jesus Christ. Healing and freedom ministry continued, with lives transformed weekly until this facility could no longer hold us.

Where we are headed...

Today, we are in our current facility at 8720 East 61st where we have expanded our vision from individual restoration to regional transformation. We continue to operate with healing and deliverance at the forefront of everything we do as focus on restoring, empowering, and releasing people into their God-given destinies in Jesus.
